The BA3 exam format

Format	Computer-based objective test. All questions are compulsory.
Length	2 hours, 60 questions.
Scoring	Reported as a scaled score from 0 to 150. Questions are weighted by difficulty, so the scaled score is not a straight percentage of questions answered correctly.
Pass mark	100 out of 150.

CIMA BA3 Financial Accounting: practice questions

Covering accounting principles and the regulatory framework, double-entry bookkeeping and books of prime entry, non-current assets (IAS 16 and IAS 38), inventory under IAS 2 (FIFO, LIFO and AVCO are all examinable), bank reconciliations, control accounts, preparation of financial statements under IAS 1 and IAS 7, and analysis using financial ratios. Note: BA3 uses IAS 1, not IFRS 18.
